Overview
The Bible is God's word and therefore the standard and basis for the convictions that I have and the things that I believe. Not humanistic reasoning, what everybody as a whole basically believes and thinks at the time, my own experiences and what life has taught me, or a general understanding of the bible and spiritual things. I need to be consumed with love for it as I deligently study it to use it for what I believe and teach others. It needs to not just be what I believe, but what I put into practice.

Word of God:
The bible contains the words of God

Only thing to trust:
The word is the only thing that I can truly trust and that will endure forever. People will come and go and thoughts will come and go, but God's word will remain forever.

Strength for my life:
God's word is what keeps me strong

Use it to help people:
I need to use the bible as I help people in their lives, and not my own thoughts and experiences, etc.

Pay close attention:
I need to pay close attention to the word, and not just passively study it.

Valuable:
I need to value and hold God's word in high regard

Delight:
The word needs to be a delight to me and fire me up.

Don't add or subtract:
I need to be very careful not to add or subtract to the word by adding in things that I think are right etc. that may not be in the word of God.

Consumed:
I need to be consumed with learning it and knowing it.

Do what it says:
I need to not only study it etc. but need to do what it says and live out what I so diligently study
